A few days ago, I stopped into a local barber shop. While waiting for an available barber, I took a seat, pulled out my e-Cigarette, and started puffing away. A young lady approached me and politely said, "Sir, I'm sorry, but there is no smoking in this barber shop."
As I smiled back at her, I began unscrewing the battery from the nicotine cartridge and said, "This is not a tobacco cigarette. It's an electronic cigarette."
She told me that she had been trying to quit smoking for several years and had heard about electronic cigarettes but had never seen one. I pulled out a sterile, rubberized e-Cigarette mouth piece, inserted it over the 'filter' tip end of my e Cigarette, and handed it to her.
She took a deep drag and her entire body relaxed as she smiled broadly. "This is really good," she said. I handed her my business card and followed her back to her barber chair.
Throughout the entire haircut, we chatted about eCigarettes and the importance of quitting smoking. I told her how I was able to give up a 5-pack-a-day habit and quit smoking after just one puff on an electronic cigarette.
One more convert to tobacco free smoking and possibly another life saved from cancer.
